About the Company:

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Surgical Institute is recruiting a full-time Plastic Surgeon to serve the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Join the busiest microsurgical practice in the city, performing reconstructive procedures in response to trauma, infection, and cancer. Improve patients' quality of life and overall function, including chronic pain management. Enjoy a flexible schedule that accommodates procedures in both the main operating room and ambulatory surgery centers.

About the Role:

The role involves coverage of a Level 1 Trauma Center, providing general plastic surgery care such as breast reconstruction/oncoplasty, abdominal wall reconstruction, skin cancer and soft tissue excision with sentinel lymph node biopsy, collaboration with orthopedic surgeons on limb salvage, body contouring after massive weight loss, and cosmetic/corrective surgeries. An interest in facial trauma is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Perform a range of plastic surgery procedures listed above.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Plastic Surgery.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Plastic Surgery.
• Pennsylvania Licensure in good standing prior to hire.
