Geisinger Medical Center is looking for a BE.BC Plastic Surgeon to join our Plastic Surgery Department in the United States. The role includes offering general and cosmetic plastic surgery services, as well as collaboration with a skilled team to provide exceptional patient care.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, be licensed in Pennsylvania, and possess advanced patient care skills. We also provide healthcare benefits from day one for full-time and part-time positions.

A plastic surgeon deals with the repair, reconstruction or replacement of physical defects of form or function involving the skin, musculoskeletal system, craniomaxillofacial structures, hands, extremities, breasts and trunk and external genitalia. They use aesthetic surgical principles not only to improve undesirable qualities of normal structures but in all reconstructive procedures as well. A plastic surgeon possesses special knowledge and skill in the design and surgery of grafts, flaps, free‑tissue transfer and replantation. Competence in the management of complex wounds, the use of implantable materials and in tumor surgery is required.
The Plastic Surgery Department at Geisinger has an opening for a BE.BC Plastic Surgeon. Geisinger is seeking plastic surgeons to join our team in central or northeastern Pennsylvania. Our services include general plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, microsurgical and implant‑based breast reconstruction, maxillofacial trauma, cancer/trauma reconstruction, and cleft/craniofacial care. Our integrated plastic surgery residency provides opportunities for teaching, research, and program development. Geisinger has an established reconstructive and cosmetic referral base which is geared to building a thriving practice. We are supported by an excellent team of physician assistants, nurses, and staff. We also collaborate closely with multiple disciplines throughout the system. For those candidates interested in cleft care, there is an opportunity to lead our accredited cleft program.
