Job summary

Rochester Regional Health seeks an experienced Plastic Surgeon to establish and grow a Plastic Surgery practice at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. Build broad-based Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, include basic hand surgery, and collaborate with Breast Surgery to develop reconstructive referrals.

You will practice independently within a respected team, shape the program's capabilities, and may bring lymphovenous bypass expertise.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Experience in broad-based Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Comfortable performing basic hand surgery.
• Hand Surgery fellowship training welcomed, but not required.
• Lymphovenous bypass experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow a broad-based Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery practice at Rochester General Hospital.
• Provide basic hand surgery as part of the clinical practice.
• Collaborate with Breast Surgery and other surgical specialties to develop reconstructive referrals.
• Shape the clinical capabilities and future growth of Plastic Surgery at RGH.
• Bring expertise such as lymphovenous bypass if available.
