Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Arlington, VA is seeking a Plastic Surgeon to join as a wound care physician. The role offers a no-call schedule with Monday–Friday hours, allowing evenings and weekends for family time, while providing steady, per-patient and per-procedure pay with bonuses.

You will evaluate, debride, and manage chronic wounds in SNFs, perform bedside procedures, and lead wound care initiatives, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and medical license to practice in VA.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and debridement procedures, bedside wound care.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic non-healing wounds.
• Advanced dressings and wound care protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, with patient follow-through through healing.

Plastic Surgeon Salary & Compensation

• Average Annual Earnings: 200,000-250,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
• High Achievers: Top performers earn $300,000+ through performance bonuses

Plastic Surgeon Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
