Job summary

IPEX USA, LLC in Lawton, Oklahoma, is seeking a Machine Operator to measure with micrometers and inspect CPVC/ PVC pipe, package and label bundles, and operate banding and nail equipment. The role emphasizes manual skills and safe, efficient production as part of a dedicated manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to demonstrate accurate knowledge and quality performance of Machine Operator processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels in the plant.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety through training, policy adherence and housekeeping.
• Produce high quality work by following processes and monitoring materials and equipment.
• Communicate with Team Leader and management about production, equipment, safety, and environment.
• Inspect and package product, measure CPVC pipe thickness, sort and label.
• Package plastic pipe in correct quantities and label as required.
• Close lifts of plastic pipe using banding tools and a nailer.
• Stencil, tag, stamp, or write identifying information on packages.
• Ensure CPVC pipe does not collect on dump tables.
• Assist lead during shutdown/start-up and react to power outages.
• Provide breaks for other operators as needed.
• Move materials to labeled areas per 5S, maintain a clean workplace.
• Maintain a respectful workplace and meet safety/quality standards.
