The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a production setting. Flexible/hybrid schedules may apply depending on position.

Qualifications

• Previous plastic-painting or industrial spray-painting experience.
• Experience with paint guns, sanders, and other hand or power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and shop drawings.
• Detail-oriented with a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (team lift up to 100 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Prepare plastic surfaces for painting.
• Mix standard and custom colors.
• Apply translucent acrylic paint using HVLP spray equipment.
• Adjust spray guns for proper paint flow and coverage.
• Mask and protect surfaces before painting.
• Inspect and correct finish imperfections.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plastic Painter to prep, prime, and paint metal signs and cabinets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Prepare plastic surfaces for painting
• Mix standard and custom colors
• Apply translucent acrylic paint using HVLP spray equipment
• Adjust spray guns for proper paint flow and coverage
• Mask and protect surfaces before painting
• Inspect and correct finish imperfections

• Follow all PPE, fire-safety, material-storage, and equipment-safety procedure
