Job summary

Allen Industries is seeking a reliable Metal Painter in Clearwater, FL to prep, prime, and paint metal signs and cabinets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This full-time role requires hands-on work with sanders, bond/filler, and gravity-fed paint guns.

You will lift and move heavy parts, maintain clean paint booths, follow OSHA safety procedures, and collaborate with a team. Prior experience painting metal or aluminum is preferred; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience painting metal or aluminum preferred.
• Ability to use paint guns, sanders, and hand tools.
• Ability to read tape measures and shop drawings.
• Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Prep metal cabinets and signs with electric sanders.
• Apply bond/filler as needed and sand to finish.
• Prime and paint using gravity-fed paint guns.
• Move signs and cabinets using carts, forklifts, or team lifting.
• Maintain clean, safe paint booths and work areas.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Metal Painter to prep, prime, and paint metal signs and cabinets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prep metal cabinets and signs using electric sanders
• Apply bond/filler as needed and sand to finish
• Prime and paint using gravity-fed paint guns
• Move signs and cabinets using carts, forklifts, or team lifting
• Maintain clean, safe paint booths and work areas
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Experience painting metal or aluminum preferred
• Ability to use paint guns, sanders, and hand tools
• Ability to read tape measures and shop drawings
• Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (team lift up to 100 lbs.)
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Overtime as needed; occasional evenings/weekends
