Job summary

Pretium Packaging is hiring multiple Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team in Ohio. You will set up and operate plastic molding machines, monitor performance, perform routine maintenance, and inspect finished products to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating plastic molding machines preferred.
• Understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Mechanical training/aptitude and technical training on packaging, plastics and printing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
