• Position assembled mold on press bed and align die with matrix.
• Set machine controls to regulate forming pressure and curing time.
• Start machine to produce samples, inspect for defects, and adjust setup to eliminate defects.
• Examine all parts produced to ensure there are no defects.
• Remove or trim excess material from products using knives or scrapers.
• Produce molded components in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
• Other job functions as required.
