Job summary

Radius Packaging is seeking a skilled machine technician for its Delavan, WI facility. The role involves operating blow-molding and injection molding machines, troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring adherence to GMP and safety standards, with a sign-on bonus to day shift.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of technical processing, maintenance or troubleshooting experience preferred.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort operating press machinery.
• Able to work independently with little supervision and keep area clean.

$500 Sign-on bonus for day shift

Minimum Starting pay: $22.00 - 25.00/hour

How do our shifts work? Full time status | 4 Days on 4 Days Off

Night Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM

Schedule: 4 Days per week and Benefits Eligible

Job Duties & Essential Functions

• Operate both blow-molding and injection molding machines
• Troubleshoot and adjust machines
• Perform routine maintenance
• Adhere to customer specifications and work safely
• Must demonstrate safe work practices and competency to drive a powered industrial truck
• Compliance to GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality regulations as required by the company, customers, and/or government agencies
• LEVEL 1:
  • Run 1 molding machine platform and other support auxiliary equipment to ensure containers are produced within customer specification. A level 1 Machine Technician will perform routine and reactive equipment maintenance to increase productivity and uptime.
  • Great introduction for those interested in a technical career path
  • Progression program in place to promote Machine Technicians to Level 2, Level 3 and the Lead MT Role

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):

• At least 1 year of technical processing, maintenance or troubleshooting experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED and equivalent reading, writing, basic math, and critical thinking skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and high level of comfort operating press machinery.
• Capable of working independently, self-sufficiently, and productively with little supervision.
• Eager to support fellow members in keeping the facility and its equipment clean, neat, and well-maintained.
• Familiarity with basic computer functions and Microsoft office applications.
• Experience using Apple iPad devices and applications preferred.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Active, multi-tasker, and can work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable lifting up to 30lbs and working in warm and cool temps.
• Dependable and on time.
