Job summary

PRETIUM is seeking a Machine Operator for full-time roles with rotating 12-hour day and night shifts in the United States. The role involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to meet quality standards and production goals.

Qualified candidates have prior machine operation experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Shift work includes weekends, with a night shift premium and RRSP matching benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Plastics manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail, reliability and time management.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust production equipment to meet targets and quality specs.
• Monitor machines and daily production goals for assigned lines.
• Check product quality and report issues.
• Review equipment performance with the prior shift operator.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance and report problems.
• Ensure proper raw material levels for assigned machines.
• Inspect finished products and make adjustments as needed.
• Follow safety, quality and production procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
