Job description

Overview

Process Technician with strong mechanical skills in Processing and setting Dies on 50-2000 ton presses in a plastics facility. Must have an understanding of hydraulic core sequences, hot runner manifolds, gate valves, air blow/ejectors, and water diagrams. Must have your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Plans for all setups following weekly production schedule.
• Responsible for setting up auxiliary equipment (oil heater, thermometer, temp controllers, robot, end of arm tooling) in preparation for a production run.
• Performs hanging and clamping of tools in presses.
• Process, troubleshoot, and startup jobs.
• Removes mold to analyze for cleaning, repairs, and preventive maintenance before storing.
• Keeps mold racks/fixture racks and storage areas clean and orderly.
• Need to be available for any shift.
• Mold set-ups.

Compensation

Pay rate is dependent on experience and will be discussed at interview.
