Job summary

J.W. Speaker in Germantown, WI is seeking hands-on Quality Inspectors to join our Plastic Injection Mold Department on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will inspect molded parts against blueprints, support 5S activities, and help maintain a safe, efficient work area.

This role offers a temperature-controlled environment, teamwork, overtime with weekend hours as needed, and opportunities to advance through training and cross-training.

Qualifications

• Quality inspection of molded parts using blueprints and work orders.
• Ability to perform daily and weekly 5s procedures.
• Work with micrometers, air presses and robots in the production area.
• Team-oriented with good communication and multitasking skills.

Job description

As our company grows, we are looking for individuals who want to work in a team environment on 2nd or 3rd shift. This is a wonderful opportunity for any individual that wants to gain more technical skills OR get their foot in the door and learn and develop in our Plastic Injection Mold Department.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Quality inspection of molded parts using blueprints and work orders
• Perform daily and weekly 5s procedures
• Set up and operation of various machines including:
  • Micrometers
  • Air presses
  • Robots

Qualified candidates will possess:

• Good communication skills
• The ability to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to lift up to 34 LBS unassisted
• Ability to stand up to 9 hours
• Ability to work overtime during the week
• Ability to work overtime on weekends unless exempt for Religious purposes
