Polykemi Manufacturing LLC in Dallas, NC is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role handles the setup, operation, and basic maintenance of production equipment in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cleaner, safe work habits and attention to detail.
• Experience as Machine Operator or similar role preferred.
• Experience with plastic injection molding machines or extruders preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production specifications.
• Excellent manual dexterity and safety awareness.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment including injection molding machines and extruders.
• Adjust machine settings and process parameters to meet specs.
• Load raw materials and maintain material supply during production.
• Monitor output to ensure compliance with product specs and quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major needs.
• Inspect machines and tools for optimal performance and safety.
• Complete production logs and required documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to improve efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
