Job summary

JST in Meridian, Idaho, seeks a Plastic Fabricator to support the manufacturing of custom wet process and precision cleaning equipment. You will fabricate, weld, and finish plastic components while ensuring all work meets engineering specifications and JST quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous plastic welding is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Plastic welding experience is preferred.
• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience is a plus.
• Able to consistently produce quality work while meeting production schedules.
• Experience using measuring devices and power tools.

This position is responsible for fabricating, welding, and finishing plastic components while ensuring all work meets engineering specifications and JST quality standards.

Starting Pay

$19.00-$24.00 per hour

Position Overview

• Read, understand, and follow work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine the optimal fabrication methods required to meet part tolerances, fit, and finish.
• Competently fabricate, weld, and finish plastic components to JST quality standards.
• Safely and efficiently use woodworking tools, power hand tools, and plastic welding equipment.
• Use measuring instruments and support JST's quality program by following established quality procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Able to safely lift and carry, push or pull objects up to 50lbs.
• Able to walk, stand and work on feet for the duration of shift.
• Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, grasp, handle and operate hand/power tools or controls.
