Job summary

Shiawassee Economic Development Partnership seeks a Supervisor: Production Manager / Plant Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations. The role requires hands-on oversight of assembly setups, quality, safety, and housekeeping to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, tape measures, performing hand and extrusion welds on plastic materials, and using a variety of power tools. Collaboration with group leaders to address defects and continuous improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Sets up assemblies from blueprints.
• Reads blueprints and tape measure.
• Hand & extrusion welds most plastic materials ( polypropylene, PVC, PVDF, HDPE, CPVC).
• Tool use: router, sander, jigsaw, mitre saw, drill, wrenches, hammer, chisel, bandsaw, side cutters.
• Responsible for own quality, methods, safety and good housekeeping practices.
• Notifies group leader or production manager or defective material or workmanship.
• Other duties as assigned.
