Job summary

Mia Aesthetics in New York City is seeking a skilled plastic surgeon to join a surgeon-centric model with full administrative and clinical support. You will perform aesthetic procedures and focus on delivering excellent outcomes and patient safety.

Work with anesthesia and clinical staff in a high-volume environment with streamlined facilities, comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, and robust operational support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required and board-certified or board-eligible in plastic surgery.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• Experience performing cosmetic surgical procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform aesthetic surgical procedures
• Deliver high-quality surgical care with a focus on patient safety and outcomes
• Collaborate with anesthesia team and clinical staff to ensure efficient OR flow
• Utilize streamlined facilities designed to minimize downtime between cases
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures and patient care
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care as needed
• Communicate effectively with clinical teams to ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery

Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform aesthetic surgical procedures

Education & Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required


• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery or relevant surgical specialty


• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or willingness and ability to apply)


• Experience performing cosmetic surgical procedures preferred
