Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Machine Operator I based in Lexington, KY. This Day shift position runs 6:48 am to 7:00 pm on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

You will operate several plastic blow molding machines and perform adjustments to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality container production. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing required.
• Regular attendance and punctuality required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple plastic blow molding machines and related equipment.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and minor repairs for quality and safety.
• Follow safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in mold changes, color changes, and line setup.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and complete documentation.
