Description:

The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of plastic surgery, with a focus on aesthetics-based procedures. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Teaching responsibilities may include instruction of medical students and plastic surgery residents.

Clinical responsibilities may include building a clinical practice in aesthetics-based plastic surgery.

The successful candidate will be a member of the Division of Plastic Surgery and will practice at the flagship institution, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Candidates with experience in surgical and nonsurgical facial aesthetics will be preferred.
