Job Scope:

As the Plasmid Production Assistant Researcher, you will follow the the guidance of the job-specific Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), a series of experimental procedures will be conducted, including cell lysis, column purification, and plasmid recovery, to extract the target genes required by customers.

Location: Piscataway, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily maintenance, repair, inspection, and other work related to the department's basic equipment, as well as the writing of experimental records and 5S management.
• Operate according to SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), complete daily production operations, including material preparation, equipment cleaning and maintenance, etc., and provide feedback on any abnormalities in upstream and downstream positions.
• Master the online MES (Manufacturing Execution System) process synchronization operations to ensure data traceability.
• Customize reagents according to production throughput, in compliance with 5S on-site management requirements, such as reagent expiration dates and reagent positioning labels.
• Propose specific production process optimization suggestions, and undertake the specific production work of department process optimization and technical improvement.
• Assist with the completion of related tasks within the department and external positions, and complete temporary tasks assigned by superiors.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Possess a bachelor's degree in Biology, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in the sciences.
• Proficient in the professional theoretical knowledge of the position, and able to report problems in time.
• Master the professional theoretical knowledge related to the position and understand the upstream and downstream related processes
• Master the working principle of the equipment, and be responsible for the maintenance and maintenance of the team equipment
• Strong interpersonal communication, coordination and organization skills.
• Strong ability to analyze and deal with problems, clear thinking and careful consideration of problems.
