Job summary

Addgene is seeking a Sr. Manager of Scientific Product Management in Watertown, MA. You will own day-to-day execution of the plasmid portfolio, align with the Director, and drive roadmap delivery, pricing decisions, and launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life sciences discipline; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive commercial experience in the life sciences sector.
• Demonstrated track record of owning a product portfolio P&L and delivering revenue growth.
• Ability to translate scientific insight into commercial strategy.
• Proven experience leading products through structured innovation or stage-gate processes (I2L/Phase-Gate).
• Strong analytical and financial acumen; able to build business cases and interpret data.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Track and report plasmid portfolio performance including revenue growth, margins, and portfolio health.
• Own the multi-year plasmid product roadmap and lifecycle management from concept to launch and retirement.
• Lead I2L pipeline support for plasmid-related innovations and new formats.
• Develop segmentation-driven prioritization and a plasmid intake evaluation framework.
