Job summary

Threaded Fasteners, Inc. is seeking a Plasma Helper to support production using the Plasma Table. You will follow directions from the Production Manager and Plasma Operator and adhere to posted procedures to maintain quality.

Responsibilities include prepping the table, monitoring equipment, inspecting finished parts for grade, thickness, and dimensions, and assisting with daily and preventive maintenance to keep operations safe and efficient on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Plasma Table
• Experience working in a manufacturing setting
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledgeable in TFI/OSHA Safety Requirements

Responsibilities

• Helps get the table ready for production.
• Helps monitor the machine during use to address any problems and adjusts as needed.
• Helps to inspect the finished product to ensure specifications have been met. This includes grade, thickness, and size, as well as other key measurements.
• Performs daily inspections as instructed by the Plasma Operator using quality checkpoints before and after use along with weekly and monthly preventative maintenance.
• Measures and keeps useable drop material and records thickness, grade, and dimensions. to help keep track of inventory.
• Alerts the Operator of any concerns or problems with the machine.
• Assures their assignments are completed on time.
• Responsible for safety and housekeeping of their area.
• Uses forklifts to load and carry material.
