Job summary

B Positive Plasma LLC seeks a Plasma Processing Tech to join our team. The role requires handling blood products, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Prior medical assistant or lab experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED and willingness to travel locally for training. Applicants should have strong English communication, be comfortable with needles, and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (must provide documentation)
• Ability to read and write English; proficiency in computer operations (Microsoft Word and Excel)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate instruments for manipulating, monitoring, and storing plasma products
• Maintain instruments used for processing and storage of donor samples and products
• Document operational and maintenance activities when necessary
• Determine supply inventory requirements; order and restock as needed
• Quarantine and discard unacceptable samples and products
• Pack, label and ship samples and products to meet suppliers requirements
• Store products in and maintain organization of large, walk-in, sub-zero freezer
• Available to travel up to 25 miles to other facility for training or staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
