Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Plasma Material Handling Operator II (2nd Shift) in Clayton, NC. The role focuses on receiving plasma, controlling inventory flow, and supporting plasma operations at the Plasma Logistics Center.

You will use the Plasma Management System (SGP) and RF terminals to ensure accurate material handling. The position requires 1–2 years in pharma or FDA-regulated manufacturing, forklift experience, and the ability to operate under CGMP and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or FDA-licensed setting.
• Experience with forklifts and/or other power equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Unload plasma shipments and sort plasma types; enter receipts in the Plasma Management System (SGP).
• Inspect equipment for damage and determine suitability for production use.
• Use RFT equipment to control and monitor inventory movements within freezer and warehouse locations.
• Identify and relocate plasma from freezer work orders and ensure proper handling.
• Maintain CGMP compliance with cleanliness and organization; follow SOPs and OSHA/EHS requirements.
• Occasionally work overtime as needed.
