Job summary

BARNES in East Granby, CT, is seeking a dedicated assembler for aerospace masking on plasma coating processes. The role requires interpreting operation sheets and blueprints to prepare components, with training on first or second shift possible and a night shift schedule from 10:30pm to 7:00am.

This safety-sensitive position emphasizes attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced factory setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in an aerospace environment preferred.
• Masking experience is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communications skills.
• Read and interpret operation sheets, blueprints and technical data.

• Interpret and follow operation sheets, engine manuals, and blueprints to determine information required to properly mask an aerospace component for plasma coating.
• Ensure use of proper fixtures and tools; maintain masking tape inventory levels required to meet production goals. Requisition materials and tooling as required.

Position Details:

Pay rate + 17% Shift Differential

Shift: Mon - Fri 10:30pm-7:00 am

Must be able to train on 1st and/or 2nd shift.

Your Expertise:

• 1 year experience in an aerospace environment preferred
• Previous masking experience is a plus
