Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking a Donor Center Technician I to evaluate donors for automated plasmapheresis eligibility and oversee immunizations in line with SOPs and state regulations. The role includes limited emergency care and ensures compliance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines.

You will work across plasma center operations, training, and QA activities, supporting a donor-focused environment and collaborating with licensed physicians on complex results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program, such as physician, nurse, or EMT; licensure may be required.
• Must work within the scope of the professional license/certification, as defined by the state.
• One year of hospital, field care, or plasma center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews and physical assessments.
• Review and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in the donor management system.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care within training/licensure.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA Backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
