Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc.’s Kedplasma in Shreveport, LA, is seeking healthcare professionals (EMT, LPN/LVN, or RN) to support donor safety and the plasma donation process. You’ll evaluate donor eligibility, manage medical incidents, and maintain regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities include donor education, immunizations, adverse event monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with the Center Medical Director.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Louisiana (RN/EMT/Paramedic/LPN/LVN).
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in plasma/blood collection is a plus.
• Familiarity with FDA/OSHA/CLIA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility for plasmapheresis and immunization programs.
• Review donor health history and lab results with the Center Medical Director.
• Educate donors on the donation process, risks, and informed consent.
• Administer immunizations and monitor adverse reactions.
• Respond to donor reactions with appropriate treatment and escalate when needed.
• Maintain emergency medical equipment and readiness.
• Document medical incidents and donor charts accurately.
• Promote donor retention through a welcoming, safe experience.
