Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a clinician to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures. You will provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff and interview donors to obtain medical histories for suitability decisions.

Responsibilities include reviewing results, addressing reactive tests, and escalating critical cases with the Center Medical Director, while following SOPs to ensure donor safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of healthcare experience.
• Experience in plasma or blood collection preferred.
• Ability to assess physical signs and patient history.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.
• Interview donors and conduct medical history reviews to determine suitability.
• Respond to donor questions about donor suitability with Center Medical Director.
• Review test results and determine continued donor suitability; assess donor symptoms.
• Notify and counsel donors regarding reactive test results; refer donors for follow-up.
• Provide routine care following SOPs; escalate critical medical situations as required.
