Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Nurse for our Specialty Programs to serve as the on-site clinical expert evaluating donor eligibility, managing donor reactions, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance during plasma donation.

You will collaborate with the Center Medical Director and team to maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming donor experience while administering immunizations and monitoring for adverse events.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active nursing license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in plasma or blood collection is a plus.
• Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, CLIA and cGMP regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct donor eligibility assessments and physical exams for plasmapheresis and immunization programs.
• Review donor health history and labs to determine suitability, consulting with the Center Medical Director as needed.
• Educate donors on the donation process, risks, benefits, and informed consent.
