Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (hours may vary based on production needs).

Position Summary:

As a Plasma Cutter and Welding Automation Programmer, you will program and optimize machines for plasma cutting and robotic welding, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and productivity to meet production goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop programs for plasma cutting machines based on drawings and specs.
• Optimize parameters like speed, feed rate, and tool selection.
• Troubleshoot and debug programs to ensure smooth production.
• Set up and prepare machines for production runs.
• Load/unload materials, ensure proper alignment and safety.
• Monitor machine operation and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Inspect parts for quality and make adjustments.
• Record data and maintain documentation.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Participate in safety training and promote safety culture.
• Perform manual welding (MIG, TIG, stick).
• Prepare workpieces for welding.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with plasma cutters or robotic welding programming and operation.
• Manual welding experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
