1st shift 7am to 3pm

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Plasma Cutter to join our manufacturing/fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining plasma cutting equipment to cut metal parts according to specifications. This role plays a vital part in producing high-quality components used in various industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate plasma cutting machines to cut and shape metal components

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications

• Select and set up correct tools, nozzles, and materials

• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment

• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

• Keep accurate records of work performed and material used

• Assist with other fabrication or production tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a plasma cutter or CNC cutting machine preferred

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

• Knowledge of metal types and thicknesses

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

• Basic math and measurement skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CNC programming or CAD software a plus

• Familiarity with other metal fabrication tools (e.g., grinders, saws, welders)
