Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a Plasma/CNC Operator for the night shift to program, set up, and operate the plasma table for pressure vessel components. You will read blueprints, nest parts, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of machine operation experience, high school diploma or GED, and ability to work with overhead cranes. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Must understand and follow all safety rules.
  • Ability to operate overhead crane, scissor lifts and ladders.
  • Follow 5S housekeeping and Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Meet safety, quality and production standards.
  • Locate and nest parts for the plasma cutter.
  • Program, set up, and operate plasma table.
  • Identify correct cut start points.
  • Identify and cut plate.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust plasma.
  • Perform basic plasma table maintenance.
  • Input material specifications into plasma control computer.
  • Safely load and unload material into/out of plasma table.
