Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Machine Operator - Plasma/CNC for the night shift to program, set up, and run the plasma table for pressure vessel components. You will read blueprints, nest parts, and ensure safety and quality during preparation for vessel tests and final assembly.

We welcome candidates with CNC/plasma experience, the ability to troubleshoot, and familiarity with 5S and Lean practices. Overhead crane operation and basic maintenance are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 1–2 years’ machine operation with CNC/ plasma experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, operate and troubleshoot a plasma table per ASME codes.
• Read blueprints, lay out parts, and nest for plasma cutting.
• Operate overhead crane, maintain 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
• Perform basic plasma maintenance and input material specs into systems.
• Load/unload material safely and assist with quality checks.
