Job summary

Takeda in Austin, TX seeks an empathetic donor center associate to greet donors, screen entries, and record vital signs. You will proficiently use the Donor Information System to chart donors and coordinate compensation. The role supports safety and donor experience while pursuing process improvements under approved procedures.

Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays are required, with emphasis on accurate documentation and donor care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

U.S. Starting Hourly Wage:

$17.00

The starting hourly wage reflects the actual starting rate for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
