Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to support plasma center operations in Newark, DE. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under Center Physician guidance.

Your role includes assisting with vaccination programs and incident management, leveraging two years of clinical experience and current CPR/AED credentials to ensure donor and staff safety. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state license/certification as LPN/LVN or RN.
• CPR and AED certification up to date.
• Minimum two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history.
• Manage donor adverse events and perform physical assessments and blood testing as required.
• Review test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings.
• Refer medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu).
• Manage employee incidents per EHS guidance and assist with pandemic-related investigations.
