The Office of State Parks (OSP) at Rosedown Plantation State Historic Site in St. Francisville, LA is seeking a site supervisor to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and programming. You will lead park staff, manage budgets, and coordinate major projects to protect and enhance the historic site and its gardens.

The role requires coordinating with law enforcement and external partners, preparing plans and contract documents, and ensuring efficient, compliant park operations year-round.

Qualifications

• Supervise and direct work of park staff in daily site operations.
• Manage budgets and revenue reporting for the site.
• Coordinate major maintenance or construction projects with departments.
• Ensure safety and compliance during park activities.

Responsabilités

• Oversees maintenance and care of site facilities.
• Approves and promotes site programming/events.
• Performs site and playground inspections.
• Manages park facility expenditures and budget prep.
• Coordinates major maintenance or construction projects with Resource Development staff.
• Works with local law enforcement to control vandalism.
• Prepares plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
• Prepares and administers the site budget.
• Produces weekly fiscal, revenue, and visitation reports.
• Directs work of subordinate employees and schedules tasks.
• Identifies staff development and training needs.
