Job summary

Waste Management in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Plant Associate to ensure waste is unloaded from vehicles, decontaminated, and properly staged for scanning and processing.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm with overtime opportunities, contributing to a safe and productive work environment. You will operate the Biotrack system, load autoclave bins or incinerator hoppers, and maintain clean work areas while adhering to health and safety directives and company policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience, preferably in plant environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand and follow health and safety directives and performance and conduct standards, policies and procedures that apply to the role and location.

Responsibilities

• Unload waste from incoming vehicles and separate non-autoclavable waste for incineration.
• Stage waste for scanning in the Biotrack system and ensure proper recordkeeping.
• Scan waste into Biotrack and load autoclave bins or incinerator hopper for processing.
• Maintain tub wash line and decontaminate reusable containers.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are met, reporting issues as needed.
