Job summary

NRG Energy’s Ironwood Maintenance team in Lebanon, PA seeks a Plant Tech for Warehouse/Stores to manage inventory, execute material handling, and support outages with a strong commitment to safety. Candidates should be capable of lifting 70 pounds, operating standard warehouse equipment, and working overtime as needed to support plant operations and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of performing warehouse and inventory-support activities.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Must be willing to work overtime and outages.
• Demonstrates good communication with leadership and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Receive/Issue Out Items in SAP.
• Stock items and monitor inventory levels.
• Plan inventory with planners/buyers for weekly work orders and outages.
• Pull items from inventory and stage for use.
• Ship packages in a timely manner, properly packaged.
• Maintain clear and accurate logs; identify and implement process improvements.
• Interface with vendors.
