Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a PVT Engineer at the Ohio Assembly Plant to own external quality objectives and lead root-cause analysis across brakes, driveline, and suspension. You’ll collaborate with dealers, fleet customers, and internal teams to implement lasting corrective actions.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in program/product development or manufacturing engineering, and Six Sigma training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own cascaded functional external quality objectives (R/1000 and CPU).
• Lead IRIS warranty binning and analysis.
• Review part returns with dealers and fleet customers to establish root cause.
• Contain identified issues with plant-wide problem solving before they reach production.
• Define long-term corrective actions and document progress in SIMPSN.
