Job summary

Covia is hiring for a Utility position at our Cleburne, TX plant. The successful candidate will gain experience operating mobile and stationary equipment while complying with safety requirements.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Prior industrial or mining experience is a plus, and weekend/overtime availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous industrial experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and data entry are required.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
• Previous mining operations experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform in a physically demanding environment.
• Shift work, weekends and overtime availability required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with MSHA CFR regulations and safety procedures for the mine.
• Perform tasks in a manner that minimizes risk to self and others.
• Follow site procedures and supervisor directions.
• Operate equipment safely for efficiency and quality.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and professionally.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
