Job summary

Covia is seeking a dynamic Utility employee to join the Operations team at the Troy Grove, IL Resin location. The role supports safety, quality and productivity by operating skid steers, forklifts and track mobiles, loading railcars and trucks, and performing basic equipment maintenance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and experience with hand tools. The job requires lifting up to 100 lbs, willingness to work rotating shifts, and compliance with Covia's

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills (email, Windows, Office).
• Ability to climb ladders and rail cars.
• Experience operating fork trucks, pallet jack, track mobile, skid steer.
• Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate Skid Steer / Track Mobile / Lift Truck.
• Operate process equipment and load railcars, trucks and silos.
• Record data for Quality, Environmental and Safety as required by procedures.
• General maintenance of plant grounds and equipment.
• Place railroad cars using Car Puller / Track Mobile.
• Load/unload liquid bulk tanker trucks.
• Use PPE and Safe Chemical handling and storage.
• General clean‑up.
