Job summary

Acme Brick Company is seeking a Utility Worker to join our production and distribution team in a safety‑sensitive role. You will support operations by loading/unloading materials, performing grounds and facility upkeep, and ensuring a clean, hazard‑free environment.

The position requires basic tool knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work in a dynamic plant setting with occasional forklift use. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Includes familiarity with power/hand tools and proper safety.
• Requires ability to stand/walk up to 1–2 miles daily.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull loads frequently.
• Ability to climb, reach, grasp, bend and twist as needed.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads materials around plant/yard.
• Performs grounds keeping and building maintenance duties.
• Ensures machines/plant are free of waste materials.
• May occasionally operate forklift.
• Follow all required safety practices including lock-out tag-out and wearing PPE.
