Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a dedicated team member for a Reading, PA plant. You will help run a manufacturing operation, boost productivity, and reduce downtime while upholding 5S standards. The role requires flexibility for second and third shifts and overtime as needed.

Excellent communication and safety focus are essential. Starting pay is $25.89 per hour with an annual bonus based on plant performance, plus generous vacation, holidays, and a 401(k) with employer matching.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willing to work second and third shift.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Experience in packaging or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
• Assist all jobs on the plant floor as needed.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
• May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for up to 12 hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
