Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc is seeking a Utility Support - 2nd shift in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves navigating the KIWI system to locate stock for manufacturing machines and moving stock to and from automated stock carts, while maintaining count and location accuracy.

Responsibilities include operating automated T cars, assisting forklifts with KIWI WIP, manually pushing stock, loading/unloading corrugated, and maintaining safety and cleanliness of equipment. Overtime is required.

Utility Support - 2nd shift

Summary

This position requires the ability to navigate KIWI and to locate stock for manufacturing machines so they can be processed in converting, by always moving them to and from machines on the automated stock carts while maintaining count and location accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Operating Automated T cars
• Navigating the KIWI system to load and unload WIP to and from machines.
• Assist Fork truck drivers with locating and directing KIWI WIP activity
• Manually pushing Stock.
• Off load corrugated from the machines.
• Assist operators and apprentices as needed.
• Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Overtime is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
