Job summary

Martin Marietta in Bridgeport, TX is seeking a versatile Utility Person to support plant operations across housekeeping, maintenance, production and equipment operation. You will monitor plant conditions, grease and lubricate equipment, and help keep the facility clean and organized while contributing to safe, productive operations.

This hands-on role offers opportunities to operate equipment (Bobcat, Kubota, RTV) and to cross-train across all plant areas.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year equipment operation, plant operation, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow directions.
• Must read/interprete gauges/dials and make competent decisions.
• Dependable and self-motivated in a fast-paced environment.
• Must prioritize workload efficiently.
• Willing to work irregular shifts, days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant operations including production, quality control, loading and shipping.
• Plant clean-up and lubrication.
• Assist with preventative and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.
• Must be willing to cross train in all plant areas.
• Operate plant-specific mobile equipment such as Bobcat, Kubota, RTV, etc.
