Job summary

ANDRITZ in Starkville, MS seeks a Plant Utility to support the production facility with safe, reliable operations. The role covers loading/unloading, equipment transport, cleaning and general maintenance, with on-the-job training provided.

Must be able to lift, pass a background check and drug screen, and work any shift including weekends. Basic math and computer skills required; stable work history preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to work any shift, including weekends.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to lift and perform physical tasks.
• On-the-job training provided; mechanical and troubleshooting skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and adhere to safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the equipment as required.
• Assist in loading and unloading product from production equipment.
• Locate and transport material throughout production facility to assigned processing equipment.
• Perform general plant cleanup and maintenance tasks as required.
• Complete paperwork as needed.
