Job summary

Ingredion is seeking a Process Operator-Utilities to manufacture and handle raw materials and finished products at the plant. The role involves safely operating equipment, maintaining quality, and ensuring continuous operation efficiency across shifts.

The candidate will monitor control room operations, sample and test products, prepare transportation for loading, and perform various duties in a team-based environment with emphasis on safety and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Forklift experience, a plus or ability to get forklift certification, required.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and Food Safety, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanized equipment safely and efficiently within specifications.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and fix equipment as applicable and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor operations from the control room on computers, if applicable.
• Sample and test products; prepare railcars and trucks for loading/unloading.
• Pack, inspect, and dump bags, totes, sacks or drums; fill tanks or transfer product.
• Perform tasks with physical demand; move hoses and clean equipment.
• Maintain inventory; handle movement of chemicals as appropriate.
• Collaborate with team and undergo continuous learning of other duties.
