Job summary

RedBuilt is seeking a full-time Plant Technical Associate in Chino to lead day-to-day quality initiatives and manage the Quality Management System. You will coordinate QA programs, monitor production quality, and report performance to leadership while supporting continuous improvement across the plant floor.

You will work closely with plant leadership, training staff, and vendors to ensure safety, compliance, and high standards.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic, good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality practices.
• Ability to raise performance through coaching and development, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong background in statistical tools and techniques.
• Maintain accurate records related to inspections, audits, and training.
• Experience in safety is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Wood products experience is a plus; some form of industrial experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA procedures, standards, and regulations is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a highly interactive team environment.
• Willingness to take on new assignments and identify resources when needed.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work on the production floor in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to network with other professionals and operations.
• Excellent business writing and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel outside the region for training or locations.
• Works well with little supervision; self-starter with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and ensure conformance to RedBuilt Manufacturing Standards.
• Develop and facilitate quality training programs at the Chino plant.
• Identify, report, and resolve safety, quality, and production issues.
• Report product performance and process quality status to management.
• Maintain relationships with outside vendors, third-party certification agencies, and internal associates.
• Lead the team by resolving technical issues and fostering a quality culture.
