Job summary

County Prestress & Precast in Whitestown, IN is hiring a General Labor Team Member to support production of concrete products in a fast-paced plant environment. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, quality, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

You will assist with steel, form, and concrete fabrication, operate basic equipment with training, and help train new team members while maintaining clean, organized work areas and adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 0–1 year of related experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Willing to learn and be trained.
• Experience with concrete or concrete-related equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools, forklifts, or manufacturing machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general manual labor, including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Assist with steel, form, and concrete fabrication, including placement, form setup/teardown, bed preparation, pulling strand, and finishing concrete.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow instructions and established safety guidelines.
• Assemble and position form components using instructions or shop drawings.
• Perform other tasks to support daily production as assigned.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts (with training).
• Use screeds to level concrete.
• Help train new team members on basic tasks.
