Lead. Improve. Succeed.

We’re looking for a strong, hands-on 2nd Shift Plant Supervisor to lead our production team and keep our operations running smoothly during the second shift. If you’re a proactive leader with a passion for quality, safety, and efficiency in a manufacturing setting—especially in the food industry—this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll ensure production meets quality, safety, and sanitation standards while guiding your team to peak performance. Here’s what your day-to-day will include:

Production Management

  • Supervise and coordinate production activities on the 2nd and 3rd shifts to meet output goals
  • Monitor processes and adjust operations to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and stay on schedule
  • Maintain communication across shifts to ensure seamless operations

Sanitation & Quality Assurance

  • Enforce sanitation standards and conduct facility and equipment inspections
  • Partner with QA to maintain product quality and prepare for audits
  • Keep accurate and thorough sanitation and quality records

Maintenance Coordination

  • Work with maintenance to minimize downtime through planned repairs and troubleshooting
  • Flag and assist in resolving equipment issues promptly

Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and mentor production and sanitation staff
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary matters when needed

Safety & Compliance

  • Champion a safe work environment by enforcing PPE use and OSHA standards
  • Track safety incidents, investigate causes, and drive preventive actions
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, FDA, and internal protocols

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements and cost-saving measures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational excellence

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3+ years in a supervisory role in food or dry ingredient manufacturing
  • In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA regulations, and sanitation best practices
  • Proven leadership skills with a hands-on approach
  • Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and overtime as needed
